Local Authority
Local Authority in the south-east of England
AHC is the heritage consultant to a local authority in the south-east where we are currently advising on a flagship housing project for over 3,000 proposed new houses as well as smaller projects for 100-200 hundred houses.
Buildings at Risk survey
Working for a local authority in the south of England, AHC was commissioned to carry out a review of the Buildings at Risk Register. The aim was to identify additional buildings at risk and note the change in condition of existing BARs.
Pilot Conservation Area management plans for Aylesbury Vale
AHC was engaged in a joint project by Aylesbury Vale District Council and English Heritage to produce pilot Conservation Area management plans to support the district's ongoing Conservation Area work.
Locum Conservation Officer for Basingstoke and Deane BC
We provided a locum conservation officer service for this local authority for eleven months. The full range of conservation officer duties were carried out, including acting as officer for a caseload of Listed Building Consent applications and providing advice to development control officers on applications affecting Conservation Areas. Prior to this we had also assisted in a Buildings at Risk Survey in two parishes.
